These terms govern your use of NoTells (the macOS and Windows apps and this website). By creating an account or using NoTells you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use NoTells.
1. The service
NoTells is a private notes, teleprompter and AI-answer overlay for your own screen. You need your own OpenAI API key for the Ask feature and you are responsible for its costs and for OpenAI's terms.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate information.
- You are responsible for your account and for everything done with it. One person per account; do not share it.
- Each person gets one free trial. Creating multiple accounts, or using other tricks, to get repeated free trials is not allowed and may lead to blocked accounts.
3. Free trial, plans and payment
- New accounts get a 3-day free trial. After it ends the app is locked until you buy a package.
- Packages add days of access to your account, on top of any time you have left. Prices are shown on the payment page and may change for future purchases.
- Payment is made by the methods listed on the payment page and verified manually. Access is added after approval. We may reject payments we cannot verify.
- Packages are fixed-term access, not subscriptions. They do not renew automatically.
- All payments are final. See our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable and responsible use
You agree not to:
- use NoTells to break the law or someone else's rights;
- copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the software, or remove its protections;
- share your account or sell access;
- attack, overload or interfere with the service.
Your responsibility. NoTells hides its window from screen sharing and recording. You alone are responsible for how you use it. Many employers, schools, exam boards, interviewers, platforms and some jurisdictions have rules that forbid using notes or AI assistance during interviews, exams, assessments or meetings. Before using NoTells you must make sure that doing so is allowed. We are not responsible for any consequence of your use, including lost opportunities, disqualification, termination or legal action.
5. Hiding from capture is not guaranteed
NoTells relies on features of macOS and Windows to keep its window out of screen sharing and recordings. Operating-system updates, capture software, hardware (such as a camera pointed at your screen), drivers or settings may cause the window to appear. Always test with your own setup first. We do not promise that NoTells will be invisible in every situation.
6. AI answers
Answers from Ask are generated by a third-party AI and may be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. Check anything important before relying on it.
7. Blocking and termination
We may block, suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, abuse the free trial, involve fraudulent or reversed payments, or put the service at risk. Blocked accounts are not entitled to a refund. You may stop using NoTells at any time.
8. Intellectual property
NoTells, its software, design and branding belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use it while you have access. Your own notes and content remain yours.
9. Disclaimer
NoTells is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
10. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of opportunity, income or reputation arising from your use of NoTells. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
11. Changes
We may update the service and these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using NoTells after a change, you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes will be handled by the courts there, unless local consumer law says otherwise. Contact: khanow99@gmail.com.
